::Visiting this food hall is a must. Amazing butchers and cheese vendors as well as pre prepared meals of sweets. You can watch some of the but hers as they painstakingly prepair the meats. Great for stocking up of Christmas treats.

::Variety of great cheese shops and butchers here, and a good bakery too. We stayed in Tours for a week and really enjoyed getting ingredients here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Might seem expensive but in fact much better food than you'd get when going to a restaurant and paying two or three times as much. Lots of things were delicious, but special mention to the fruit jelly at one of the cheese shops (apricot with herbs was phenomenal) and to the rabbit and duck sausages. Very friendly service at most of the shops, too. (I've just been out to dinner in Lyon, famous gastronomical city, and I wish I could take the money back and spend it here instead, whip up dinner myself.)
