::Ohh I want to cry because I can't have any more of the morning croissants from this bakery since I don't live in Paris. Go early, Go often. Eat that croissant. Eat two. It's the croissant of my childhood, when I would visit my grandparents and eat croissants in the morning. Then, in the late 70s early 80s, everything changed and it was hard to find a good croissant in Paris. Some say it was the flour. I do not know, but they are back. The good croissant. The heart breaking croissant. The early morning its worth waking up croissant. French people historically had a resistance to credit cards. So its not uncommon for the credit card machines to disfunction. Its probably user error. Bring cash for back up, cause you don't want to miss your early morning croissant. PS they are closed one day a week, so just go to the Eric Kayser up the street. PPS I know this is a chain, but it is still awe-some good.
