  A fuir! 3h de service pour un simple menu à 18€. 15€ pour un burger miniature composé d'un steak haché galette et de pain du supermarché, accompagné d'une ridicule poignée de reste de frites des précédents clients! Serveurs pas du tout agréables et incapables de prendre er de servir une commande.

  Accueil agréable bonne ambiance générale. Ce qui est regrettable le plat principal n'est pas suffisamment chaud. Et j'ai du payer pleins de suppléments, alors que j'avais acheté sur Groupon un bon pour deux personnes. En conclusion : correct.

  Chose Café Bastide for a quick, and in French terms rather late, dinner - great choice! Beginning of August, about 25 degrees celsius, 21:15h, on the terrace: After waiting for a few minutes, the waiters attended us and with a mix of my rusty French and their not-bad-at-all English (/me destroying prejudices!) we managed to know which dishes were still available. As I wanted to go for something simple, I did not mind that salmon, mussels, duck, chocolat mousse and apple tart were out. My choice, "Burger Français", was delicious and filled me just about right! Self-made beef patty, fresh ingredients (see menu picture for more info). The salad, small portion served on the plate, was not seasoned. Their mayonnaise tated self-made, a bit too much mustard for my personal taste. 4 stars for a nice restaurant café with friendly staff and good food in Bastide.

  We came here late at night after a 10 hour drive from Portugal. As we do not speak much French the waiters were ready to assist us in English what was quite helpful. After a short explanation which plates are not available any more we went with the French Burger which was very delicious. The portions are not that big but tasty and fresh, the price for 15€ was ok, in comparison to size and quality. As said the staff was helpful and friendly and tried to please us at any time. In warm summer nights (such as this one) you can sit outside and enjoy your evening and the surrounding area of the Bastide.

  What really made this restaurant 5 stars was Aurelien, our server. He paired wines with our dishes, was always available and even joined in our conversations without being obtrusive. The entrée plat dessert was also very good but the service and the interesting wines offered made this place stand out. We will return.
