  Great service! Everything went smoothly from pick up to return of car. The management has done well in their recruitment of staff. The staff were very friendly and there was no hard selling - maybe because they’re all female! I did take up an optional extra that was offered cheaper than their website, pleased with that. Sixth gets 5 stars simply because of their fantastic staff!

  I booked a VW Passat estate but, continuing with my life long record of never getting the car I ordered, I was provided with a brand new Peugeot 5008 which had sufficient room for 5 adults and all their luggage including 3 sets of golf clubs (no trolleys). Car was fine particularly if, as I suspect, it had a 1.2 petrol engine, if I could have got a better price I would have gone for the 3008 when I changed my own car recently, and Sixt did not keep us hanging around whilst they went over the car with a fine tooth comb on its return - but make sure the tank is full they certainly check that , not straightforward at Toulouse airport. Staff were very friendly and overall a hassle free experience all round and any refunds were paid promptly. I had a similar experience at Edinburgh airport in 2014 so Sixt will be my default go to from now on.

  The personnel at the counter at the airport was friendly and professional as always. They had a nice selection of cars, of which we picked up a Mini with automatic transmission. This was a perfect choice for two people and for driving at the Pyrenees mountain roads! The car was in excellent condition and the attendant handing over the car was able to explain all the details of it and even changed the language of the info system into English. We drove around the mountains, visiting both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts with great pleasure. When returning the car, I found to my surprise, that the office was unmanned. Anyway, it succeeded well and I did not get any unfamiliar surprises afterwards, as often is the case with some other rental companies.

  I actually discovered Sixt in the States, as they have a station in my area and filled a need for a local rental in the past. When traveling to Europe this year, and planning some driving on the trip, I thought of them first because their fleet is better suited to my driving preferences than most American lines (think fun/luxury rather than utilitarian). I was happy to find that in Toulouse their prices were more than competitive, and on arrival pleased that their station is just steps from the terminal. Dealing with them couldn't have been easier and the car was in perfect order and a lot of fun to drive. I was very satisfied from beginning to end, and will certainly turn to them again wherever I travel.

  Only short wait at check in desk in terminal. Good personal service at the point of collection, new car as advertised. Impressed also with the car return service. In short efficient and no complaints.
