This museum is a real gem. The building is just stunningly beautiful and worth a visit on its own...and yet it is also filled with some magnificent works of art. The vibe is relaxed and a million miles away from the crusty art museums of old. We went with teenage daughters (who like art and crafts) and everyone loved it.

Loved this museum! Perfectly sized. I felt overwhelmed in the Louvre and this museum was a great size that allowed you to take your time and see pretty much everything without walking miles and being there for hours and hours. Included in the Paris Museum Pass, which is a great deal if you plan on hitting some museums while in Paris (you should!)

Third time to visit this magnificent art venue and always come away inspired and appreciative of the works on display. Everything is displayed in an accessible manner and the groupings are well organized. Enjoyed lunch in the restaurant. One can easily spend an entire afternoon here. A top attraction for anyone interested in art.

The problem with reviewing museums in Paris is that they are all extraordinary. As a huge Degas fan I was in my element. The beauty on display is mind blowing. It is a life affirming experience. From the spectacular architecture to the smallest sketch, joy can be found. Except the cafe is freakishly expensive, and why is there so few toilets?!?

This is the excellent museum on par with Louvre. Ordered tickets online hoping to save time and avoid lines. Line for folks with tickets on Wednesday on rainy day off season was huge going around several blocks. Came back later around 4pm on the same day and got inside in 30 minutes. Unfortunately museum was closing at 6pm and 90 minutes was quick preview. Museum is set from old railroad station. It's collection of Degas, Monet, Janet, Power to and other famous painters require easy 3-4 hours. This museum is a must to visit while in Paris.
