Room was small -- but ideal otherwise. Quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good WiFi. Wonderful location.

Friendly staff made all the difference. We stayed over Christmas and loved the nearby shopping. Room was comfy and I loved the breakfast room in the basement. Overall lovely stay and would recommend this spot to singles or couples traveling with light luggage. Probably not for large families with tons of suitcases.

We have stayed here six times and always return to it when in Paris. It's steps from Notre Dame, shops, the Left Bank, excellent dining, close to everything. It's a charming boutique hotel, so intimate on the small island in the middle of the city. Love the breakfast down in the old wine cellar. We have been coming here since the 1980s, when the basement used to be a cool wine cellar where we played backgammon in front of a romantic burning fireplace while sipping an aperitif. Church down the street frequently has first-rate concerts. I highly recommend this place, but don't give it five stars because it's a little, tiny bit thread-bare these days and could use a refresh. Also, due to it's location, the rooms are small, be advised. But I'm still in love with this place and would never stay anywhere else in Paris (unless someone is footing the bill for the Hotel Crillion or Le Bristol!) :)

Surprisingly nice accommodations in the middle of the Seine river in Paris. Very tight spaces, slow wifi, and very low cell signal were the 2 stars taken off in my review. Location, location, location though! Reasonable price as well.

One of the finest locations in all of Paris, there's nowhere more centrally located than the islands of the Seine. The hotel is clean, rather strictly managed and contains some charming rooms. Breakfasts are underwhelming and overpriced but that is a minor quibble. Rooms located around the central light well may be a bit noisy with reflected echoes from other guests.
