  This is a beautiful Cathedral! The stained glass windows and art work is amazing. We were recommended to go here by some locals, and we are glad we did! Make sure to look out for the dog on the stairs in the catherdral and rub his head for good luck! Also it is well worth the time and money to walk up the steps to the top of the cathedral and overlook the entire city. It is a bit of a work out though, so be prepared. They also will give you a student discount if you have your student ID.

  Maestosa cattedrale sita nel cuore di Strasburgo all'interno dell'isola formata dall'affluente del Reno che attraversa la città. Questa isola chiamata Piccola Francia è una vera chicca da visitare per via delle belle strade case e monumenti in cui non mancano locali di vario genere. La cattedrale ha più di mille anni ed è costruita con una tipica pietra arenaria rossiccia del luogo in pieno stile gotico. La visita a questa struttura è praticamente obbligatoria se si visita Strasburgo vista la sua bellezza mozzafiato e la sua centrale importanza sia geografica che religiosa. Se la visitate nel periodo invernale copritevi con abiti adatti poiché la sua vicinanza all'acqua e il vento che spesso soffia anche forte fanno risultare particolarmente fredda questa esperienza.

  Meravigliosa cattedrale in stile gotico alta 142 metri, è un monumento storico dal.1862. È stato un tempio protestante dal.1525 al 1689, poi Luigi XIV diede ordine di cederlo ai cattolici romani. I lavori per la sua costruzione iniziarono nel 1015 in stile romanico e continuarono fino al 1439 in stile gotico. É una basilica a tre navate con all'interno tre antichi organi. È inoltre famosa per il.suo orologio astronomico che riproduce la precessione degli equinozi.

  En eventyrlig historie. Domkirken Notre-Dame i Strasbourg troner majestætisk over byen og forbløffer allermest ved sine enorme proportioner. Dens 124 meter høje spir har altid været et orienteringspunkt for de besøgende i Strasbourg. Domkirken hyldes af mange digtere og er især kendt for sit gotiske midterskib, sit astronomiske ur fra renæssancen samt sine smukt ornamenterede indgangsportaler. Når man kommer op ad de 332 trappetrin, kan man mindes Victor Hugos ord i rejseerindringerne "Le Rhin": "Man er så højt oppe, at landskabet ikke længere er et landskab. Det er... et geografisk kort, men det er et levende kort... Jeg gik fra det ene tårn til det andet og så Frankrig, Schweiz og Tyskland i samme solstråle".
