Expensive drinks and friendly staff. La Chouffe beer was perfect.

Very rude bartender. Do NOT enter this place, there are much better places to drink or eat something. Café Le Buisson 👎👎

We asked for a Tartine (identified in the menu as costing 2,50€) and a Cheesecake au citron (6,50€). The bartender brought us the cheesecake and a sandwich instead of the Tartine; charged us 18€ 😤 Besides, rude bartending; when I asked for the WiFi password, the bartender mocked me. Definitely not to come back.

Friendly waitresses and good food. Simple lunch for a decent price.

Found this place while out shopping the day after Christmas. It had just started to pour a freezing rain/slush mix, and it was lunch time anyway. Few places were open, and this looked pretty good. It was a welcome respite on a dreary day. The staff was English friendly, and also just plain friendly. We got the last table, by the bathroom unfortunately, but beggars can't be choosers. My husband got the lamb and mashed potato special, and I got the beef bourguignon. With ample baguettes and a nice glass of red, it was quite good. If I had to complain, I could say the beef had been slow cooked for quite a while, giving it that slight hint of metallic taste it can get from simmering in a pan for a very long time. I am a fan of char on my steaks, and "fall apart" is a good quality to have in a beef bourguignon, so that is just me being hyper-critical. I was also not expecting boiled potatoes, as I usually make a mash when I cook it at home, but I liked the change. It was hot and hearty, with good sized portions, and very reasonably priced. My husband loved the lamb and mash special also. I even heard one of the waitresses speaking Spanish to a family that came in briefly for a drink to dodge the weather and use the restroom, so clearly a multi-lingual staff. Definite recommend for this place.
