  The staff was unfriendly and the billing details was not clear and charged a lot more than my expectation. When i drove the car, it was only 4/5 full, but I have to left the station. Moreover, they warned me that the car was a diesel car, but finally I found that the car used unleaded 95.

  This location issued me a car with the incorrect transmission and proceeded to bill me for having driven 3,200 miles during a 1 day rental - resulting in a $1,200 bill to my card! Worse, AVIS customer service said it could take up to 30 days to just REVIEW the issue, let alone issue a refund for a mileage that is physically impossible to achieve in a day.

  Our customer service rep was very helpful. He drew us a map to help us get out of the city and avoid traffic (i.e. the madness in the arc de triomphe circle). He spoke flawless english once he realized that we didn't know very much french. Most of the cars are manuals, but he did offer us an automatic if we needed one. The actual garage structure where the cars are and car return is located across the street in a parking garage. Double check the actual hours, I'm not sure that the hours listed on the avis site were exactly the same as the office hours.

  charged 100 $ more than in the contract. nobody speaks English when called customer service.
